Aion: Assassin Tips & Tricks

Knowledge here from the Kaisinel Server. Just wanted to let all who didnt know already that your suprise attacks(backstabs) are useable for more than just an opening attack!! If a MOB is currently using ANY action/spell the same rules apply for them as do for us. Whats that mean? its means that while the MOB is in the process of dealing damage via attack skill or spell it renders them inmobile in order to finish its skill opperation. That equals AWSOMENESS for Assasins. Its very simple to get off backstabs without having to sneak up on your enemy. While running your usual rotation take note of the Mob and when hes preparing to swing or attack. Simply run through the MOB so that your back to back and quickly click Suprise attack. This will cause your character to spin around automatically and backstab the MOB before he even finishes his attack.

dont worry about trying to walk around the mob or to turn your character around. All this does it take time and before you know it your mob will have completed his action and be turned right around with you. Even if your back is to a mob and you click a melee ability its will instantly turn your character around to attack!

Another Useful tactic for dealing with Stealth seeing MOBS. click your Evasion ability then Charge attack them. 1 of 2 things will happin.

Either A: You Charge attack and your evasion ability will cause them to miss there first swing which opens up your Counter attack which stuns them and then you walk through the MOB as I stated above for your free backstab!

Or B: Sometime when you Charge the MOB, pathing is a little goofey. but it works to our benefit so no complaint from me. What will acually happin is as you charge the mob, somtimes it will cause you to charge all the way to the center most part of the MOB. which makes them acually run through YOU and look for a spot thats of the right distance for Them to attack! Whats that mean? That means that somtimes right after you Charge attack the mob it will acually turn its back to you to find a place to mount an attack. So when you see this happin just hurry and click your Suprise attack.
